When I was 8 years old, my dad gave me a Rollei 35 Camera, so I could learn the technique of taking photos the right way. Photography started to be my favorite hobby . After finishing school, I was working 20 years in my father`s camera shop, selling cameras and taking photos of people in our photo-studio (portrait, wedding, family, children). But my real love is now: wildlife-, landscape- and sports- photography. Since 1996 I spent most of my holidays taking photos of wildlife in South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Namibia. In 2007 I came to South Africa for good to live on my own farm in the Freestate where I have various game on the property. You cannot have it much closer. Every day is different and I have always a camera with me – just in case – a special moment might come up. I like to share my photos with people, who are also interested in wildlife photography. Hope you also will like my passion for animals.
