Linda lives with her family in Johannesburg, South Africa. She has always enjoyed art, and studied Graphic Design at the Vaal Triangle Technikon. After working for 10 years in the graphic design industry, Linda discovered a knack for digital illustrations. "I wanted to buy an artwork for my home, but couldn't find anything with both the right colouring and size, so I created it." She found she really enjoyed the process of creating South African artworks of both people and landscapes, simple and complex. "I like to take the subject and eliminate all but the most basic colour, highlight and shadow to create my digital artworks. I really enjoy the purity once all the textures have been stripped away." Her digital artworks on canvas adorn the walls of a few South African homes. In 2007 she won second place in a Joburg Merchandising competition with her illustration 'AfroChic'. In 2012 she won first place in the Fantastick illustration competition.
