Hmm, that seems the hardest thing … writing about myself. It all started long time ago in country far, far away, in my teenage years back in Bulgaria. My father’s passion for photography was quite catchy so I soon started pressing buttons and asking questions about aperture and speed. Later, in university, I was lucky enough to find a part time job as a wedding photographer's assistant. It didn't last long – the whole staged environment was a bit too theatrical for me. Experience wise though, it was a huge milestone. Life took charge and here I was – married, with two kids and living in South Africa. With its abundance of wildlife, South Africa is every photographer’s paradise. The country has an abundance of birds, mammals, insect, stunningly beautiful nature and the most amazing sunsets. What drives me today is quite different from the past. I read a lot and experiment all the time. The satisfaction that I get from my photography is overwhelming. Realities are still there, but tossing my camera bag in the car and driving into a perfect African sunset turn my ordinary life into a dream come true.
