My name is Glen Bradshaw and I live in Cape Town, South Africa. I am an amateur photographic enthusiast. What started out as a hobby more than eight years ago has become a passion. I started taking photography seriously when my son was in high school as he was a keen sportsman. Around the same time my wife was co-ordinating a school sport supplement for the Daily Dispatch and before I knew it I was being sent on assignments to cover school events for publication. This included sporting games, plays and even matric dances (high school prom). I have done weddings, engagement and family shoots but I am at my happiest when I am in the outdoors using my camera to commune with nature. A number of my photographs have been published and I was one of the winners of a photographic competition sponsored by Sony and Pix Magazine in 2009 in which I won a trip to Spain. This was an enriching experience. Any free time I have you will see me with my Canon 5D Mark III looking for a photographic opportunities around the beautiful surrounds of greater Cape Town.
